Wizard World Los Angeles
Long Beach Convention Center, March 19-21, 2004.
On Saturday, March 20, 2004, a HELLBOY panel consisting of stars Ron Perlman and Selma Blair, director Guillermo del Toro, and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, signed posters and photos and chatted with fans at the Wizard World Convention at Long Beach, CA.
The signing was scheduled for just one hour, and only a limited number of tickets were given out. Fortunately, I was included in that number, so I got the fabulous Drew Struzan poster and a couple of pics signed. Also managed to capture a few photos of the event to share with all of you who couldn't be there.

And then one final shot before we depart.
We couldn't stay for the Hellboy panel discussion which took place a little later that evening because we had to dash back to Los Angeles for 6.30 PM to attend a special screening of the 'HELLBOY' movie at the Beverly Connection.
Here's a brief description of the panel discussion from the official Wizard World website
HELLA-GOOD
TIME.
Hellboy panel at Wizard World Los Angeles gives fans
a sneak peak at the upcoming flick.
Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, stars Ron Perlman and Selma Blair, and director Guillermo del Toro got a chance to let fans in on the making of the heavily anticipated adaptation, "Hellboy" at Wizard World Los Angeles.
Del Toro and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola began the night speaking to a packed audience in the Wizard Auditorium from 6:00 - 7:00 PM and dished out the dirt on the upcoming Hellboy movie. Del Toro immediately reached out to fans asking if anyone had a chance to see an advance screening of the movie, but only a few people raised their hands. They continued on for the full hour answering anything the fans could ask, inlcuding the possibility of a Hellboy cartoon. Del Toro responded by saying that there is already something in the works.
Many of the questions revolved mainly around the rapidly approaching premiere. The stunning Selma Blair was introduced to the world of comic book action and if "Guillermo would have me," she said, would gladly return for a sequel.
Possibly the most memorable moment was when Guillermo and Ron beckoned a shy child to come directly in front of the stage to ask his question. Ron responded with a smile and the audience cheered.
