Plot Summary
Lila is a college student who takes a job in the Psychology Department for extra cash. She meets with Professor Burton and he explains his work on Psychometry, which is the psychic ability to read impressions left on objects. Professor Burton gives Lila certain objects and asks her to report on the sensations she receives from them. Lila correctly senses the objects belong to a woman who was murdered. Lila moves into the dead woman's apartment to uncover the mystery. But as the plot unfolds, we learn that Burton is using Lila for her psychic ability and to identify the murderer because the Professor himself is under suspicion for the crime.
