"The role was written for Ron to play, as himself... I asked everyone I knew if they knew Ron, or if anyone could get me a meeting with him. I got a call from Siri Garber, (currently of Paris Hilton fame), she told me that Ron was thrilled to hear about the project, and wanted to do the part. A meeting was set up, and a week or so later we were shooting. We filmed four major scenes, two of which ended up in the final cut. However, the other two are added to the DVD. Ron said. "this part is totally different from anything else he has ever done, and it was the best time he's ever had shooting a movie." We had our first screening in November of 2002."
