THE STORY:

Sentenced to the remote juvenile detention facility COLDWATER RANCH, 17-year-old Brad Lunders (Lucas Black) makes a stand against ranch director "Colonel" Morris Timberland (Ron Perlman) and his ranch Councelors whose ideas of rehabilitation consist of physical and mental torture.

TOUGH LOVE?
(The Tragic Inspiration for Coldwater):
Since 1980, thousands of teenagers have been sent to Juvenile Boot Camps and behavior modification schools around the world, only to be humiliated and tortured. To date, at least 180 of these children have died or been killed as a result of those in charge of these so-called "REHABILITATION" centers.

Many of these facilities still exist today, often recommended by local and state authorities, yet allowed to run AUTONOMOUSLY without any governmental oversight.

COLDWATER will be dedicated to those who paid the ultimate price.
