Plot summary

"Boys on the Run" is the story of Charlie, an unfortunate teenager who ends up in a reformatory School in Virginia after he burns down his adoptive parents' garage. There he meets Joe, and the two execute a daring escape and head for the mountains where they can hunt and fish and avoid adult authority. On their way they meet Raindrop, who is fleeing from her militia-captain father. Together and with the Militia on their trail they try to escape in the hope of finding somewhere to make a new start to their lives.
