RON
PERLMAN (Beadle) received his MFA degree from the University
of Minnesota. A native New Yorker, he has appeared in repertory
at C.S.C. performing as ‘Ejlert Lovborg’ in Hedda Gabler,
‘Lucio’ in Measure for Measure, and starring in Woyzeck
and Tartuffe. He created the role of ‘the Emperor’ in
Tom O’Horgan’s critically acclaimed The Architect and the
Emperor of Assyria. Returning from a European tour, he played
the title role in O’Horgan’s Arturo Ui. Creating the
role of ‘D.J. Rollins’ in Sunset (later Platinum)
with Alexis Smith, he is known on daytime T.V. as ‘Dr. Bernie
Marx’ in Ryan’s Hope. Mr. Perlman’s first love is creating
musical comedy revue theatre.
